Imported from Ahmedabad – India, this Henna Powder (Lawsonia Inermis) is derived from the henna plant. When used by itself it can give luscious shades of red to maroon depending on the duration you leave it on the hair. If used together with indigo powder it can give a natural black shade to the hair.

Henna can also increase the strength of the hair and, therefore, can represent a safe dye that doesn’t permanently affect the health of our follicles. It might help seal the hair cuticle, preventing breaking, and increasing the shine and appearance of the hair. It might also help prevent dandruff.

For people suffering from hair loss or baldness, henna might inhibit this from happening

Instructions

100% NATURAL & NON-ALLERGIC*

In a bowl, mix the Henna powder with warm water or tea decoction or coffee decoction until you achieve a thick paste and cover it with plastic wrap. Allow the paste to cool down and let it sit for about 6-8 hours. You can add some lemon juice for shine. You can also add some yoghurt or egg for additional conditioning.

Apply the Henna paste on clean, product-free hair and keep it for a minimum of 3-4 hours. The longer you leave the Henna, the darker it will be. Rinse thoroughly with normal water only. DO NOT use shampoo or soap.

All the grey hair would have now turned to shades of maroon. Dry it well with a clean dry towel.
